| New Tutorials - 01/03/03 [Azz] |
Sorry about the delay returning the site to its online status. We're now on a new server and hopefully should be staying here for the duration.
The site is back as it was, but has two new (well one new but I didn't pop the other like I should) tutorials written by Cerbera. One covers the use of the SendTo command, and the other on how to write your own Insane Stunt Bonuses. Both well written and make it easy for even a duggie like me to understand.
If you have any contributions for this site please contact me and we'll have a quick chat about it. Cheers, Azz

| Site Launch - 25/03/02 [Azz] |
Greetings folks, and welcome to the GTA Mission.ini Guides. This site contains tutorials for editing the GTA1 mission.ini file to create new scripts. The tutorials were written by Nick "Stilton" Jones, man of many talents who you may know from Ransom or GTA3mods.com depending on how long you've been following the GTA Community.
The tutorials cover the basics, including an awesome 7 Day guide which teaches to you basics from setting up the mission.ini to working with side procs. Powerups and Kill Frenzies are also covered. We hope to add some more tutorials soon (I've got a few I'm going to write when I get the time), including ISBs and MPHONES.
The files page contains some stuff you'll need, though to be honest I think most people already have the basics for mission scripting (Notepad and a copy of the MTD). There are also some files to accompany the tutorials.
Don't expect this site to be updated daily, but it will be here as a resource for GTA modders. Read the about page for more details on this site.
I wish you all luck in your GTA editing, and maybe we'll no longer see desperate cries in the forums of "my tc is finished, but I have no missions!".
